About Dr. Reinholtz

My name is Rhonda Reinholtz, PhD, and I am a clinical psychologist in private practice. My education in psychology began at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. I completed my graduate work at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, and then completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical psychology at the Menninger Clinic in Topeka, Kansas. While at Menninger, I completed specialized training in couples and family therapy, as well as human sexuality and sex therapy.

In addition to working in private practice, I teach a class at the University of Wisconsin - Madison as a Senior Lecturer in the psychology department.

My approach to psychotherapy blends a contemporary psychodynamic orientation with cognitive-behavioral psychology. I work to help clients move forward in their lives using practical solutions, while also developing an understanding of the underlying issues that contribute to their struggles.

I welcome the opportunity to work with you to sort through whatever isn't going well in your life right now and to make it better. If you have any questions about me or my practice, please contact me.
